The concept of beDIGNIFIED was grown over time through the input of many. The owners, Darren and Bobbi Tewes have been active in ministry over the course of their adult lives. When Darren felt prompted to leave full time ministry, the task at hand was finding work that was meaningful, that had a greater purpose than just to provide for the family. As time passed, opportunity came in a most unique way..

Bobbi is a gifted and creative woman. She sits down with materials and puts together items that people love. It was through a friend having a baby shower that our new mission began to unfold. Bobbi designed some frames for the expectant mother. With a room full of women at the baby shower, there was amazement at what Bobbi created. Many of them had seen Bobbi’s creativity at work in the past but now they urged her to share her gifts with others. Through the marriage of Bobbi’s gift of creativity with the business sense of her husband Darren, beDIGNIFIED was born.

Anyone can make and sell items. Our passion lies in giving glory to the giver of the gifts. The Tewes have three beautiful daughters. Children truly reflect the dignity and beauty of God. At beDIGNIFIED we believe that we can spread the message that all people are created with dignity. We hope that as people are reminded of the dignity of a child, they will remember the dignity of their co-workers, friends, family, strangers, those at the first stages of life and those at the final stages of life. All are created with dignity and should be treated in that manner and it is to this purpose that beDIGNIFIED exists.
